When you register for and access or use the Platform, we collect personal information, including name, email address, year of birth, phone number, password, gender, location and other demographic information (such as any answers to questions posed in the App which you respond to in order to access the Service, including your response to Red Flag questions) and any other information that you may provide while accessing or using the Platform. All collectively referred to us “Personal Information”.

We only have access to and collect personal information that you voluntarily give us by filling out our forms, surveys and answering questions which are part of the Platform, or via email or other direct contact from you via text, social media or Website interaction, phone calls or voice messages.

If you do not want this information to be shared with our employees, service providers and subcontractors, upon your request, we will not share your information. However, your ability to access and use the Site and/or Platform, and request services, may be limited or interrupted.

Information Collected by Automated Means

Whenever you use the Site and/or Platform, we and/or our service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically collect information about how the Site is accessed and used (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include, in part, browser type, operating system, the page viewed, the time, how many users visited the Site, and the website you visited immediately before the Site. This statistical data provides us with information about the use of the Site and/or Platform, such as how many visitors visit a specific page on the Site, how long they stay on that page, which websites they are coming from and which hyperlinks, if any, they “click” on, which part of the Platform are used most, by whom and how. Usage Information also includes error messages and crash analytics. Usage Information helps us to keep the Site user friendly and to provide visitors with readily accessible and helpful information. The personal information provided in the Platform, including your usage of the hearing aids, App, Rewards program, hearing check results, hearing aid settings and usage data are all stored by us, and can be accessed by members of the Hearing Aid Kart only in order to assist you in the use, maintenance or operation of the Platform or devices.

If you choose to access and use the Hearing Test on the Site, any test data can be synced back to us in an anonymized form. If you choose to add personal data to such a result by leaving your contact details or enquiring with us or interacting via the Test with one of our Hearing Aid Kart members, then the test results may be made available to us too. The information saved by this service includes your results and answers to all pre-test questions, your contact details (if provided) and any personal information provided (if provided).

Cookie Use

When you visit the Site, we may use “cookies” which are small files stored as text on your computer or device. Only employees, service providers and subcontractors who need the Personal Information to perform a specific job are granted access to Personal Information. VI. Online Hearing Test

If you don’t have audiology Report, or haven’t tested your ear so far, we give a probationary option to test your hearing online. After getting result you may assume your hearing loss and order related products. But for best results we strongly recommend book an appointment online or consult with our RCI registered certified professionals. They are always with you to provide best guidance and make your hearing easy. We are not responsible for any happenings/incidents/decisions that may occurs on the basis of Online Hearing Test Result. This result is just for better understanding and it can’t interpret the actual hearing loss or any problems.

VII. Miscellaneous

This Policy and the privacy practices of Hearing Aid Kart will be subject exclusively to the laws of the India. Please note that Hearing Aid Kart servers are located in the India. Hearing Aid Kart makes no representation that this Policy and our practices comply with the laws of any other country or jurisdiction. Users of the Site who reside outside the India do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable. If you reside outside of the India, by using the Site or Platform, you consent to the transfer, processing, and use of your information outside of your country.

If we become involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, the Site, our Platform, and your information as collected, processed and maintained through our Platform may be included in the assets sold or transferred to the acquirer.
